Thats right Joe, think D-rift found WGH very hard to deal with.
The owner lad is a pure wanker, he doesnt like drifters "wrecking the track"

he is the height of a wanker...last practice day this year i took the car for a quick spin down into the lower car park when i took it off the trailer, drove pack up and he drew a kick on the car threathenin to boot me outta the place...couldnt say boo to him or id never again be let in there...its typical ireland, everyones only out to fla the next...after being in mondello last month and what happened with the langer,il be slow on returning to wgh, only thing going for it is its close to home...

He can be alittle awkward at times but could you blame him when some lads were turning up last year just to wreak the place doing burn-outs and rings everywhere and not any sort of good drifting.

with insurance, marshals and track-time it wasn't even paying great either so last thing you want is people destroying the track.

I reckon if there was some good practice days with everything organised well and nobody there with scrap that they pulled out of a hedge it could go pretty well.

Believe it or not these drift days prob dont pay,and yes the track does get damaged by dopes landing on the grass, you have to look at it from his point too as a kart will not do any damage and he wont have to pay someone to fix up the track/grass,when a d-rift event is held he loses business he would normally get for both the saturday and sunday, and from what he makes from the events now a days its much more worth his while to just do karting,as far as i know anyway there is defo no d-rift this year which is a shame as i used always prefer the events for some reason, looks like prodrift are the leaders down this side now.....
