    Default wide arches

well lads, just thinking to myself earlier,

On road going cars, with wide arches, whats the general concencus,
rivits on show or smooth and flush fit?

now i'm not talking full quarter overfenders, but for the likes of JUN or Rocket Bunny style arches.

personnally i love the rivited on look.
it tends to be only on older cars i see it though so i'm not too sure how it would look on newer cars like say the s14's or s15's.

    thoughts?

smooth could be fully blended into the cars bodyline or just the mounting screws hidden on the underside.
feel free to comment on either.

i voted smooth, just rather it, i think it gives the car a cleaner look but thats just my opinion, i dont really like the riveted look, is it a drift or road car though??

road cars is what i was thinking about as all sorts of shite is tolerated and
seen as looking sweet on track cars because they are track cars.
and i'm talking about looks over any form of practicality.

i'll stick it in the main post.

rivets all the way!!! if ya smooth in the arch and some how you crack/smash it, you have to remover all the filler and respray the whole wing again, with rivets ya just drill them out and replace only the over fender! or ya could even cable tie the smashed arch back together if your really lazy!

can there be no balanced between a mint car and rivits on show?
as in, just because a car has rivited on arches, that doesnt mean the paint and bodywork couldnt be well looked after and all fitted correctly no?
