Head to Head

Team mates Phil and Mike will meet in the twin battles with the other battles comprising Martin v Ian, Matt v Adam and Marcin v John.

Phil loses his front and back bumper in the practice run with Mike Cooper. Mike spins and Phil continues his run. 10-0 to Phil first run.
10-0 to Phil second run as Mike spins near the finish. Phil goes through to the Semi-Final.


Martin Griffiths v Ian Phillips - 8-2 to Ian Phillips as his run matches his qualifying run (which was in the dry) - the wet track didn't affect his commitment or entry.
Second run 7-3 to Martin Griffiths as Ian Phillips straightens after the first and final corners. Ian goes through to the semi-finals on the strength of his first run.


Adam Brackwell ends the first judged run wedged against the armco barrier as he spins near the finish line. 10-0 to Matt House. Recovery truck is out!!
Adam's car is recovered and in the second run Matt House spinsafter the final corner giving a 10-0 result the other way! They'll have to run ONE MORE TIME!
7-3 to Adam on the first run and 6-4 to Matt on the second - Adam goes through to the semi-finals. Matt straightened twice on the first run and Adam straightened once on the second.


Marcin v John Glaister - 7-3 to John showing some awesome driving today!
Second run 7-3 to Marcin as John makes a mistake on the first corner. They'll have to run one more time....
John makes a mistake on the first corner causing him to straighten. 6-4 to Marcin.
7-3 to Marcin on the second run as he has a clean run and John makes a couple of mistakes.



Final 4

Phil v Ian first judged run - 7-3 to Ian as Phil straightens during the run.
Second run 7-3 to Ian as Phil straightens during the first corner. Ian carried the angle and speed throughout his run.


Marcin initiates late and straightens giving Adam a 6-4 advantage in their first run.
6-4 to Adam on the second run so Adam is through to the final against Ian Phillips.


3rd & 4th place run off.
Phil does his best entry of the day! He straightens slightly later in the run but Marcin straightens for longer giving Phil a 6-4 advantage.
Marcin spins in the second run! Marcin is 4th and Phil gains 3rd place.


Final
First run of the final sees Ian gaining an 8-2 advantage over Adam as Adam straightens at various points throughout.
In the second run both drivers put in a safe performance resulting in a 5-5 score. Ian Phillips wins on the basis of his first run!
