So having finished the Silvia recently I promised my wife I wouldn’t go near any more projects. So needless to say it took some convincing for her to allow me to buy this shell.
The good parts: 1k4 original two tone paint code and factory manual sr20det. No rot, just surface rust. Although that doesn’t mean much in the s-body scene, it’s only a matter of time before people who are even more purist than I am start falling in love with building these cars. Also it’s a rolling shell. Less than 2000 of these were ever produced in this combination.
The bad parts? Well... I’ll let the pics do the talking but this is how the shell sits.
You can see the original purple upper two tone colour on the interior pic.
It doesn’t even have doors only has 2 out of 6 windows. No doors, no interior, no engine, box, boot, bonnet, diff, exhaust, electrics, lights, trims, etc etc. It’s a bare rolling shell. To top it off the rear tailgate needs straightening and the driver’s sill needs replacing. Other than that it’s good to go
I bought this as an investment. With the price of VRT and the love for these cars only growing, I felt it was a good opportunity. Whether I’m going to put any money into it remains to be seen but ideally I’d get the shell to the point where it only needs paint and bits bolted on. I think it will be a valuable shell then.
To whet the appetite, here’s what it could look like.

Anyways, offers welcome hahaha. It scares me a little how much I want to build this car and how many parts I already have for it!
