M50B25 convertion into e34 520i question

Hows a goin lads, just wanted to ask is it a big job to put this m50b25 out of an e34 automatic



Into this 520i e34 manual m50b20



I dont know much about vanos and the first car is auto so would the loom even work for the manual 520i? Both cars are 95 as far as I know would have to double check the first car as its english reg.

The m50 you have is only single stage vanos. Its a easy job as engine swaps go. There's plenty of info if you google m50 conversion

Also if the ecu's are red/wine in colour and labelled 413 they are non ews so one less thing to worry about

Ok so theyre both single stage vanos? Perfect ill check that, it was more the looms I was wondering about, as the 2.5 is auto but I think they have a seperate ecu for the gearbox? Any idea if the engine loom would be the same?
