    Default s14 wiring

im having a wiring problem with my s14. (i know right...... shocker)
my engine loom and ecu are fine. all working perfectly, continuity and what not. fuses are all fine.
there seems to be no power going to my ecu.
the car will turn over but will not fire, no fuel pump, no injectors, no spark.
i have run a wire directly from battery to ecu relay and this will make the fuel pump run and will give spark but no injectors. (tested by plugging a cam angle sensor in and turning manually)
there is more thatn likely a problem between ignition barrel and ecu.
can anyone shed some light on this for me.
i know everyone is pretty secretive about posting info on ignition barrel wiring but maybe someone could help my via pm.
also if i wire in a live into the power wires in the ecu can i get the car to run?
will 12 volts fry my ecu or is that the voltage it uses?
like what is the setup for a track car.
can i run a wire a via switch directly to the ecu to make the car go.
i understand the obvious implications of doing this Ie. massive convienience for a car thief

dont worry im not going to leave it like this.

    any help would be great.

Was the car running before hand or is it a car you have been building over time? Is it a jap or a uk S14? UK versions have the NATS system in them, could be an immobilizer issue.

I would recommend to look into the CAS sensor or ignitor...maybe the wiring into the sensor is faulty etc?

the cas sensor will stop the fuel pump, injectors and coil packs from firing. the fuel pump will run for a few seconds when the ignition is turned on, its priming phase.

check your ecu and ignition relays are switching on with the ignition. hold them in your hand and turn the ignition on, you should feel them click on and hear it too. if they arent then youve got a feed issue to the relays/ecu.

oh and check all of your fuses thoroughly
