Leave the standard one in it. Zero advantage in removing it, ive driven a car in bad rain without a fan round mondello and its a whopper pain in the sack not being able to see anything

You can but a small electric fan in motor factors just screw it on the dash, wire t up to an independent switch that's the other option

I like many others on here I'd imagine use shampoo just rub it onto screen with paper and keep rubbing till it gets clear again works well, I had bought a computer radiator with double fans and a potentiometer to control them before I was told about the shampoo , I still have them on the shelf never needed them and have been out on a good few wet days

Sound lads thanks for the responses. Went looking for the standard ducting today and I'm short a few bits so think il just take the chance and gamble leaving it out. Shouldn't be too much hassle to retro fit something after if needs be
