great weekend even with the sudden stop involving a wall just before the judging tower. thanks to every1 that helped an to those who offered to get anything I needed. atmosphere is fantastic in pits/ crowds.

unbelievable high levels of drifting in idc, just keeps getting better even with a few top drivers missing this round and past couple off seasons.

I had a very enjoyable weekend. Practice was a bit so so, qualifying was awful but i made up with it in battles, some lucky and some not so. Top 8th finish made me happy anyway.

Some serious drivers in all classes the weekend, the few that stood out for me were Jack Shanahan, Arty Mullen, James Deane, Ffrenchy, DOC, Eoin o Sullivan, and so many more. Infact it was rare to see bad driving imo!! Sad to see Eoin crash so hard and i had the worst seat to see it, nearly colliding with him myself. :/ But he will fix her, i know it.

Sat night was a crazy affair.........nothing short of the usual.

Thanks to my friends and sponsors for getting me there, without them id be sitting it out Roll on rd 3

Yeh basically there was a cone over a really bad manhole cover with a dip after it. But somebody moved the cone, so I was just driving out for practice fiddling with gloves and stuff and bang! Gave me some fright! Hit the subframe, and has done crazy damage. If you hit a wall you have a little bit of crumple I suppose, but this just hit it right where you don't want to. Twisted the car, folded the chassis legs, engine mount broke etc. Won't know the full extent until the engines out, but it doesn't look good, as the whole subframe sort of twisted under the car. Still can't believe it.

I've yet to hit a wall in drifting or do any real damage that way, but yet last year I got a tip in watergrasshill that sent me into the tyres and bent the chassis legs and did some bad damage, and now this, which has done way more damage. The shell was pretty weak already so I'm not sure if it will take a jig but we'll have to try I suppose as I've no other option. Won't be able to find another shell that's anyway good, and not end up costing me 1,000s after prep, modifying the tunnel etc. Not being a mechanic or fabricator kills me in that regard.

Then with sully hitting the wall aswell it was just a gut wrenching event, as I know how much time more than even the money has gone into that car. Hopefully we'll both be back at some point though!

Dmac wasn't out as his axle bent on the Friday.

Apart from all that the driving in semi pro was crazy impressive, and some great stuff on the sunday as well. To many people to list that were just awesome this weekend! But to be honest it was very hard to watch and really enjoy it after all that had happened.....
