this is an absolute cwwwwwwazy build fella , fair play, you have some skills and a serious amount of patience !!. ill have a lot of questions for you in the not too distant future!!
2 quick questions.....why did you drill new holes in the flywheel and chance weakening it rather than elongating the oniginal holes and secondly ....is there much to making an adaptor plate for the sr gearbox???? just i run cnc machining centres and was wondering what exactly there is to do it .

I went to a machine shop over the road from me and asked him what would be the best way 2 change the hole pattern and he said its much easier to drill new holes to make sure it fits 100%, he said elongating the hole wouldn't be as accurate!
Amm I'm not using an adapter plate, I'm doing it slightly different.
Keep an eye on the build thread and you'll see what I'm on about!
But if you did want to use an adapter plate, it a bit awkward because none of the holes line up and some arnt too far from overlapping each other.
If you are good on the computer I'm sure you'd master it!

No im not re-drilling them, they are 5x114 but the centre bore has to be enlarged by something like 4mm I think! Originally Posted by ELV-iS
