Thumbs up Wiring questions for sr20 speed sensor

Basically im using a digital dash display in a twincam with an sr20.. My questions are as follows.. Should the speed sensor be wired through the ECU before the digi display and can anyone tell me where the speed sensor is wired to in a standard 180sx type x and what way is it wired, is it just a positive and negative, and which wire is which on the sensor.... I cant find anything other than ECU pin outs on the internet and mainly 240sx stuff. Thanks in advance friends

if its the same as an s14

two wires from the speed sensor supply a voltage to the back of the clocks

speedo converts voltage to vehicle speed.seeing as it just measures voltage, which wire is which doesnt matter
