    Thumbs up Bara bara ichiyon!

hi im 15. hopefully this build thread will convince more younger people with the knowledge to try get into the sport. so where do i start. after alot of searching, looking at cars etc i was set on a cheap car like an e36 or something of those lines but after alot of thinking and doing a summer job i went out to search for something more. went to look at this and then thursday night it was in my possession
    spec.
    1994 silvia s14
    front mount intercooler
t25 turbo fitted (for better spool)
    BOV
    apexi filter
    metal headgasket
screamer elbo+down pipe + standard cat +full cat back exhaust back box (ill update with brand)
    paddle clutch
    welded diff
    lowering springs + dampers
    apexi turbo timer
greddy boost gauge and exhaust temp gauge in pillar pod
    nice 3 spoke steering wheel
    boost @ .9
    enough chit chat heres pics

first night i had her home i put in in the garage and started to take the interior out including seats, centre console, rear seats, 1/4 panel cards to clean the car out. (will be leaving front carpet and seats in) and took off the front d/s wing to tuck the wiring loom.

all cleaned i went and stuck some stickers on it to keep me happy.

i took the centre badge out of the steering wheel and cut a piece of carbon to put behind it

with that sorted i then started to clean out the boot and take the rear lights out and remove the back bumper to i can paint it in hammerite. ive only done the boot and rear panel so far because i need to take the sound deadining out. (any suggestions on how?)
also painted the rear toe hook red.

after that i went under the bonnet to tidy up some stuff and spray the grill and while that was off i painted the bumper bar, slam panel/front panel, radiator brackets.

everything so far ive done myself and at the moment im working on an intercooler water spray setup. more will be revealed soon. i took photos but there bad quality so ill take photos in the sunlight after it's done.

    future plans are:
    hydraulic handbrake
    bucket seat and harness
    remove sound deadining
    coilovers
    bolt in cage
    paint inside
make centre panel in dash out of carbon
after some seat time ill spray the front end.

any suggestions, questions and comments are welcome as always.
    thanks Deco

Would of loved to being at that at 15 ! Keep up da good work
For removing the sound deading i used a heat gun to melt the glue and scraped it off with a wide cold chisel .

ye keeping an eye on your project too it's a mint motor and wheels are just pure awsome.

thanks for all the good comments. ive picked up most of my knowledge through servicing cars with the brothers and just reading build threads etc.
i always keep the sayings ''do it right the first time'' and ''measure twice cut once''. no fucking around available!

wasn't actually too bad tbh i was dreading doing it.

you just need to cut the lip at the start to keep the wires from being to tight.
then file and i added a little rubber trim to stop it in any way of shaving the wires.
then just get your hand under the dash and try push the tighter wires out more. after that drill two holes at each end of the lip as theres already 1 in the middle and zip tie the loom. and hey presto.
