FC3s: BGW Or Not?

Hey quick question to see what ye think..

Should I put a BGW on my FC again or leave it as it is?
When in the auctions in japan it had a crazy carbon one but was robbed off it before it landed here so just replaced it with a original Mazda Aero one raised at the back and have a small lip spoiler for the top of the rear glass..

But always wanted to try a BGW back on it again so what do ye think?

Assuming its used for track that is,
The muthatruckin popo might not like it on the road!

Yea this fucker is so heavy on petrol it will rarely see road.

Already have a cheapo BGW got and going about extending out 9" so it will be about 1650mm wide and making custom stands because of the odd mounding points on the FC.. So it will definately be big enough:D

I'd leave it with the lip spoiler, think a BGW will ruin the look of the car

In two minds myself so I said I see what others thought..

Here is the said BGW..

It will be cut and widened 10inches to match the arches a bit better and custom risers will be made so all that it will have is the basic shape and end caps similar

Will be widened by 10inches making it almost 1700mm wide...
And custom risers with a set of fancy adjustable rams like the one that was on it...


It wont be universal looking when Im done..

The one that was on it was either robbed on the boat or in Japan cause I was there to see it drive off the ship without it:mad:

Or 18x10s;) Hopefully in the pipeline.. 17s look way too small on it and they are already on 25mm spacers:o

i think the spoiler looks well on it in the auction pics, think its mainly th positioning of it of the back of the bootlid that makes it work would look epic wider and a tad lower than in the auction pics imo

Although, suppose as you have the cheap wing already you might as well mess around with it and see how it looks after that as all it will cost you is alittle time and effort:)

I don't think going very high with the risers is a great idea either though. Just maybe abit extra in length to make the car look abit longer and play on its stance when you get wheels that fill the arches abit better.

DaveM-sport: Thats what Im thinkin alright have the BGW so might as well mess around with it a bit now, if it looks shite its only a bolt off job anyway.. Once Ive it on Ill get some new pics up..

Id say I will lads just got lazy doing it now as Im cleaning uo the engine bay.. Have an aluminium cooling plate made and the intercooler and all the water pipes off for polishing:cool:

BGW will be done for Japfest though:)
