I wouldn't think getting one for under 2k is too tall an order! Nixons selling his 200 for around that money I think, VRT'd and all.

And Kev bought his one for less than a grand.

I'd keep a look up on jon44w.com or on DW if your prepared to travel a bit

SR20 Redtop (no VVT) with loom and ECU is only £600, or else a Blacktop VVT engine and loom can be got for £500 :cool:

i know where there's a 180 drift car cheap enough :) i think .... no engine but ya could can find one them easy enough !

i dont see why everyone recons he wont get a car for less than 2grand i garantee you with the way things are nowadays you would get a 13-14 needing the engine built or crashed or what ever for around a grand weld the diff cheap sacond hand coilovers 3-500tops, he is a mechanic so rebuild it himself 4-500 parts or bate out the damage maybe lights bumper what ever300 would do a lot for a drift car deffo doable for under 2000 he does not want a 300bhp show car just something to have the crack in

yea but i think he means he wants a car for 2 grand.. not a shell... and them parts u named out is nearly costing a total of 3 grand;)

i no him and he is not looking for a complete car he no's what things are worth, 2300 acsualy, i bought a 97 jap s14a last month for 2000 it took a small dig in the passanger front needed a bumper wing mount cooler and wishbone 500 had it on the road sold it to a mate for 3000 that car was easly worth 3500-4000 bargains are out there!!

i already have a 400bhp + s14.5 that i built which cost me more than 30k. theres no way im going to bring that to the track and wreck it
thats why im after something cheap and cheerful
