Hi all
I'm Larry, I'm from New Ross - some of you may know me from other forums (use the same user name all over the place - i'm very original  )
Found this site completely by accident - A guy called Martin from Kerry posted up a link to it on Driver.ie and i stumbled upon it yesterday - very impressed - delighted there is an Irish drifting site, after all, we have some of the best drifters in the world :cool:
I'm only just on the right side of 30, and I run my own business (Cleancar.ie)
I competed in the Irish Drifting Championship for 2 years back in 2003 and 2004, but money ran out when an engine rebuild which i was quoted €1500 for hit €4000 before it even got finished :(:(
Ended up having to sell the car to pay the engine rebuild costs which broke my heart. Life kinda got the better of me then for the past few years, (mortgage, missus, family and work) but i've finally got the buzz again :)
I have had an E36 M3 Evo sitting out the front of the house for 3 years now, it has had very little driving because tax has been so dear and it was only being used once a week at the most. So 1+1= Larry building a new drift car :D:D
I will post up the full build in the project section, but it is being done on a budget so don't get too excited :) I'll have plenty of questions for you all and will need plenty of advise also so sorry in advance if i wreak your heads :D
Anyway, thats me, looking forward to posting and getting my hands dirty and my tyres shredded again
Larry
