Looked like ye had a bit of trouble getting crisp shots on some of them Martin, difficult panning alright but still good shots.
Shutter speed looked a tad to low on the first batch..
Sideways Simon....

Shutter speed looked a tad to low on the first batch..Ah the thing about practice days is that they're practice for everyone. Shooting at 1/40 isn't the easiest. but worth a shot. Also holding a mono pod by the base with a car drifting past you and the camera pretty much sitting on the bonnet isn't all that easy either. I've loads that are perfect but didn't stick them up. Only 1300 more to go through.

Sweet pics martin lad, looking forward to seeing more;)
Yep some sweet pics Martin, and I can vouch that the camera was more or less on the bonnet, it felt much closer than it looked in the pics. Or maybe I was just further away from the clipping point than I thought, as usual :p
It was a 10mm lens. If it was a foot from the bonnet it would still look like a huge amount!!
brave stuff lad ... fair play.
brave stuff lad ... fair play.Ay lad. It was a bit scary. I know someone has video of it as a few came around with cameras, I want to see how it looked from on borad.
Here's my slide show i mixed together today :)
Oh and please forgive me the quality, as im messing first time with the windows movie maker, but the oldschool thing in slide show is made in purpose :p
