View Full Version : xtd clutch yes or no
well time for new clutch and dont know what to go for, cos budget is very low but need smth to last a bit, im running 280bhp+230ft/lb in my ca18 200sx, and came across xtd stage3 clutch (cooper/ceramic disc) and fly kit for reasonable moneys  anybody here is running or ever ran XTD and any coments?
thanks lads
Tomas
I've been running an XTD clutch for just over a year now and have done a few drift days, and plenty of hard road use during the year. It's a pig of a thing in traffic and takes some getting used to, but I don't really mind because it has a good strong bite.
Hadn't had any trouble with it at all, until tonight. For some reason it doesn't like being slipped in reverse going uphill. The car just groans, and then dies. Weird.
I say yes, greg say no lol
I've been running stage 3 in the skyline for over a year now, lil heavy for everyday use but very grippy for abuse and doesn't fade off, if your on a budget go for it

They have to be run in fairly well from what i've read elsewhere. Even though I was told I could rape mine straight away when it was fitted.
