Whats the max stretch you could get away with???
i have 255 width on the back and was wondering whats the skinniest tyre i could stick on it :D

all depends on the tyre profile size and the person fitting it

therye 255 with no stretch, 255 is 10 inches roughly
ideal profile would be 40 or 45

my back rims are 11 inch wide,iv stretch 225,45,18 on them
thats pretty impressive, ill see if the lad can stratch em
id usually put 205/45 - 215/45 on 10j

no such thing as max...
ive 10's on back of mine an usually put 225/40/18's on em.... cheap tyres at about 55 a pop..

i always use the same size tyres, so when your front wear down you can burn them of :D

only thing id like to point out ad im sure you already know, if you get streched tires, you wont have a rim protecter so you will reck your rim if you hit a curb :o

simple answer, dont crash! could say that about doin anythin to a car!! might as well all drive standard motors then! haha
