View Full Version : is it a t25 or t28 turbo
Alright lads. The turbo in my car was changed before i bought it how can i tell if its a t25 or a t28 turbo. Any markings i should look out for? Thanks in advance
it could also be a t28r , just to add to the confusion :rolleyes:

stick up a few pics... the t25 pipe that goes to the air filter is bolted on at different positions than the t28/t28r..
also on a t28 it only has 4 bolts on the compressor housing where as the t28r has 6

thats some handy info
how many blades are on the compressor side??
its on the car so couldnt be bothered stripping it back to see.is there any part number on it that would let me know.cheers

il post this for the third time these part numbers should be clearly visable on a metal tag on the core of the turbo looking up at you as you look down onto the turbo
The following are part numbers found on the 4 different turbos found on sr20s
Jap PS13: 14411-50F00 (non BB)
Jap S14: 14411-69F00 (non BB)
Ball bearing Jap S14 (facelift) 14411-82F01
Ball bearing with wastegate splitter Jap/ S15 14411-91F00
