I think abit more info is needed on your car. What is it, what power, what width wheels etc.

17's on the front will give you more clearance for extra lock, but will have less grip.
18's on the back will have good grip, but you will need decent power to spin them.

Pros: looks awsome.

Cons: did you ready the Pros? just do it!

I have no idea sorry, but my view is it asthetcially lets you tuck your rear wheel wile allowing enough space up front to turn the wheels and not have the nose of the car up in the air.

Well i tinking that same, good question, but alot people running 17 or 18,
but lads rite what power ya running,?

iam getn 17's all around but a 10j on the rear as more area is coverd with rubber with more grip - more speed, i know few lads have 10.5j on the back and running into problems trying get rubber for them at a good price

plus 17 on the front give ya extra lock option, but with a maxis tyre it give ya the grip ya need

I have 17x9 +15 on front and 18x10 +30 on rears..I don't like the 17s on the front because they look to small I think where as the back ones the dish is big enough and really fill the arches..and there fucking one piece aswell make it worse

The only time where different size wheels should have an affect on a car is if it's 4Wd as the traction control may read the wheels as spinning at different rates, but if you fit the correct tyre sizes to keep the rolling radius the same it should be fine.
On a RWD car it shouldn't have any major affect though it will take more power to spin the wheels as said already.

Might throw the abs light on if the diameters are a good bit different.
