Alright guys. Bit off topic but Im on the look out for a mark 1 caddy pick up. I know there rare enough in ireland. Condition not important. (at least to some extent) Doesnt need to have an engine either. Its going to be a project. Anyone know where id get one or know of one in a feild or anything for small moneys??

Im looking everywhere at the minute for one. I think they are animal of an old skool yoke. Max i want to spend is about 700.

Drop an 8v gti lump straight in an away you go!

They do suffer from rust in the rear quaters and bed though, but nothing a welder and a grinder wont sort out!

When done right they are a seriously cool car, proper oldskool!

Cheers twailbait. Those links wont work for me do. Gem said hed sell me his 1. Might need a bit to much work but ill go have a look anyway. Have a horn for 1 now.:D

fuck your life!!!! a lad rang me bout 2 months ago with one for 1500, drivin but runnin shit, decent body not too much rust!! i txt him but it went the day he advertised it!!!

They are making serious money when they are restored. Lads are mad for them. I think theyre bad ass.:D
