safe boost on standard 1jz?

just wonderin what boost can you run on a standard 1jz non vvti?
has front mount and an induction kit but thats it. goin to fit a boost controller and bring her to the dyno to get it set up right. what sortve power would ye expect?

1.0 bar is safe..... Anything after that the turbos will blow because there only cermaic!! They boost 0.8 standard as far as i can remember!! You should get 300hp with a decat and a healthy engine!

0.7 bar is standard, I'm used to it now :(

If your doing that then get a decat if you can, at least you will get more benefit of a tune

That spec and a good tune can make up to 350hp although you might need to go past 1.0bar. The only thing about it though is you could get a pair of fully working turbos for about €300 so it's not the end of the world if you push them to death
