by etc do u also mean turbo , gearbox etc?? i would be interested in this but this idea is still in its begining stages wit me! also got to get the money 2gether , thus why im askin wat they cost, need to no how much to aim for:D

I was in the same boat recently so let me share some experience.

I sold a v.good engine recently for 1000 euro (after petrol costs). Gearbox for 450 euro. But you can get engine for 700 as well if you're not in rush. Make sure you hear it running as they VERY often eat pistons/engine bearings.

When buying engine make sure you get the subframe as it's additional 100 euro, loom 100 euro, ecu 70-100 euro, prop 100 euro. If you're lucky. In IE add 25-50% (in some cases 150% LOL) on top of that

And buy the package, never buy parts separately, I learned it in a hard way.

RB25det is an expensive business, that's why I gave up this idea even though I already had an engine and box as the rest of the parts + 380bhp tuning package (t518z I wanted to run, PowerFC, remap, 555 injectors, splitfire coilpacks, clutch, FMIC+piping, greddy plenum, fabrication) would cost me much much more than the engine itself:mad:

And you'd say why would you tune it? Because you can get 270 bhp out of any CA or SR easy;) (std RB is 250bhp IIRC)
