heat gun then small drop of petrol of a clean soft cloth
you'll never know it was there
holts tar remover, serious stuff
Toffee wheel is the only answer for removing tape left from mouldings and the sticky pads that hold numberplates on, then use panel wipe for any small bits that may be left on the bodywork. Make sure and keep moving the toffee wheel or YOU WILL burn the paint.

Ye that the best way the rubber wheel on the drill and doesn't damage the paint
Petrol works a treat for getting sticky residue off.
