Ive 205/55/16 on 16x8 et10 rota grid drifts, they sit well on standard bodywork but your gonna need whopper spacing!!

I know that robbie I thought I'd need 30mm spacers at the rear
The reason i went for them, is for the cheap or free tyres:D

30mm spacers will just get you flush with the standard bodywork, epic 60mm spacers :D

Do not put on wide quarters with those sized wheels.
205/55 is quite balooney also on 8s, but the most common 16" part worn you'll get.

y dont u sell da 16s nd get sum man wheels ta fill da big 1/4s or keep da 16s for skiddin aswel  bt buy sum man wheels nd fill dem 1/4s!!!:p
thanks for all the advice lads, forgot to mention the car is only for track days and i don't want to have to spend 30euro a tyre for part-worn 17's when i can get 16's for 10euro and I'll get alot for free from some tyre guys i know
I'm just going to bin the idea of the arches for a while and stick with the 16's on the back anyway to keep the cost of trackdays down so i can get more seat time:D
may look a little odd with 16's on an 180 but hopefully will be some smoke machine:cool:
If i put 205 55 on 16x8 what would i put on 16x7 205 aswell or smaller??
55 sidewall is huge percentage of a 205 width tyre. balloon spec infact. there realy weak sizes no way would i put fenders anywhere near them! slam, space on standard bodywork, and driftttt!
