View Full Version : geordie's RBS14.5
well lads myself and geordie are in the middle of building his new drift car as some of you no he used to own the "wexican laurel" the one driven by Martin Ffrench in the prodrift in mondello, the last practice day out there geordie was out in it and she got a death rattle from the bottom end(big ends) not a big deal but as the car needed paint and couler was unknown so he decided to break the car as he had a 97 s14a sitting in my yard doing nothing, geordie done a deal with the laurel as a rolling shell got a good few parts to help the build along, full kit s15 front with carbon bonnet and genuine lights full camber arm setup and a few other bits
so the plan is s14 with 15 front, wide body,BIG WING!!!(geordie special), full kit, RB25 with to4 turbo off the laurel, all the usual coilovers, camber arms, loads of extra lock!! all that jazz
the car

so far she is fully striped all sound deadining and unneeded brackets removed hydro stick and seats mounted, coilovers in waiting on camber arms and few more bits will have more pics tomoro when get batterys for the camra
looking forward to seeing the build progress!
Cheers for whoever edited this for me jerks!!

yea mild steel cages can be tig welded no problem it just means u hav to have everything super clean so you don't get perosity in the welds but its no problem and would be a nice finish in the car

do you have the rb box mounted?
any chance you have a pic or two of how you built the mount to suit the box being further back?
i'm redoing the one on mine as it was just a standard mount in it and wasnt great.

If you e-mail Cathy she can e-mail you jpg images of the dyno sheets. It could make way more on a built engine.
