Wen reving the engine between 2000 and 3000rpm engine gives a rattle sounds 2 be bottom end does bottom rattle on these aroung the rpm ?

doubt it, is it uk spec or jsp spec?
becasue that usely the sprocket i tink that what it called
it on the front right of the engine

uk spec, it dnt sound 2 be vvt rattle iv had that rattle before in other s14's

i wouldnt jump the gun.....could be a million and one things.....i do laugh when questions like this pop up and people automaticaly say bottom ends,its a good possibility,but could also be a 100 and 1 other things....get some else to rev the car while you stick your head in the engine bay,have a look for the obviouse things you can see with the eye,something loose,loose bolts ect...then work from there!!!

happend a friend of mine & he went & done da bearings & it wasnt the problem at all, still not solved !

If it ain't the usual vvt rattle it could be....

Could be the top chain guide take the rocker cover off take it out and see if it stops. Nothting loose a round the turbo, heat shields etc is it standard?
Not sure but it could also be a knacker hydraulic lifter.

best thing ye can do is take the rocker cover off and have a look see what state the head is in. If it's like a constant miss it could be worn rocker arms? like they've worn a flat spot on them.

Ye could also change the oil or take the sump off to rule out bearing failure. check to see if there's and metal filings in there?

when's the last time it was serviced?
