which one you looking at?

superchargers are expensive to rebuilt, and die alot from what ive seen. as standard there only about 130 bhp but with a healthy one you can uprate intercooler and pulleys etc for more go. if its a bluw one with carbon bonnet your looking at, dont do it!

4a-gze's are very good to a certain power, without spending BIG money your capped to around 180/190 hp i think. But having said that they go very well in AE86's. I had a 20v road car and it was a great yolk to go, 16v's are expensive to build and get good power out of them.

YES frank yes you do!!! get rid of those dirty datsuns and get your arse back in a 86....:p

Buddy swapped doccos trueno above, drove her there while ago,she is well to move!! but id still rather my setup, tuned 16v's are the nuns nasties....personally and i think reliability wise you'd be better og goin with a n/a 16v,theres alot about now with a nice spec on them,if you are buying one on itb's make sure she's well setup and with a good ecu, thats the one mistake i made...i know theres another 20bhp at least in my car and i cant get it out of it without an ecu i can work with!!

actually now i think of it, its actually the paddy speccers that seem to be cleaner, jappers tend to be fairly rough round the edges (from what ive seen) and alot of the paddy spec yokes are super tidy inside and out, so would it not make sense to buy a paddy speccer even if its ugly and change the wheels??

PeterT
27-08-09, 12:31
no. just no. sorry mick you havnt been on ae86irl!

from my experience in my '' not the nicest lookin cam'' i would go with the 4agze engine over a 16v on t boddies! iv had 4 cams now and the 4agze was the best by far!
